sermonette: Getting To Know God
The New Covenant vs. The Old Covenant
John W. Ritenbaugh
Given 15-May-04; Sermon #666s; 18 minutes
John Ritenbaugh, comparing the provisions of the Old Covenant with the New Covenant, suggests that getting to "know God intimately" (by virtue of His placing His Law in our inward parts and our minds- giving us the ability to keep the law in the spirit, enabling us to experience life as God experiences life) makes the New Covenant superior. Science has corroborated that every living thing ever created is unique from every other living thing. Such an awesome creative mind is totally beyond comprehension unless God illumines it through His Holy Spirit by a special calling. The ability to experience life as God experiences life makes the New Covenant superior.
